MIRENA Refund Policy

Version 2.0
Reviewed 15 August 2026
Owner: Kevin Maguire trading as Semantec SEO

1. Voluntary first-period policy

Semantec SEO offers the original purchaser a voluntary full refund of the first paid 30-day MIRENA subscription period when the request is received within 30 days of the initial subscription charge.

The voluntary policy is intended to let a new subscriber evaluate fit. It is additional to mandatory rights and does not remove or reduce them.

2. Eligibility

The request must concern the initial paid MIRENA subscription charge, come from or be authorised by the original purchaser, and reach support@semantecseo.com within the 30-day voluntary window.

A detailed reason is not required for the voluntary first-period request, although account and payment details are needed to locate and verify the transaction.

3. Normally excluded from the voluntary policy

Renewal charges after the first 30 days, repeat goodwill requests following a prior voluntary refund, bank or card-issuer costs, currency conversion, and charges imposed by OpenAI or another provider are not normally covered.

This exclusion does not apply where mandatory law requires a refund, price reduction, termination, or other remedy.

4. Cancellation and future billing

Cancellation stops future renewal when received before the next charge is processed. It does not automatically reverse a charge already processed.

Paid access normally continues through an unrefunded paid period. A full refund, statutory remedy, security action, or serious breach may end access sooner.

5. Online withdrawal rights

A consumer buying a digital service online may have a 14-day withdrawal right. The legal result can depend on the service, request for immediate performance, acknowledgement concerning performance or digital supply, information supplied before order, and applicable law.

The checkout must provide the required information and obtain any required express request or acknowledgement. This policy should not assume that a statutory right has been waived unless the legal conditions are met and recorded.

6. Conformity and service remedies

Irish consumer law may provide remedies where a digital service is not supplied, is not as agreed, is interrupted, or cannot be brought into conformity within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience.

Available remedies may include correction, resupply, proportionate price reduction, refund, or termination depending on the circumstances and mandatory law.

7. How to request a refund

Email support@semantecseo.com from the purchase email. Include the charge date, account email, last four digits of the payment method where available, and whether the request concerns the voluntary first-period policy or another legal remedy.

Do not send a full card number, security code, password, or authentication code.

8. Processing and access

Semantec SEO will verify the request and instruct the payment provider where a refund is approved or required. Processing time depends on the payment provider and financial institution.

A refund is normally returned through the original payment route unless another method is legally required or expressly agreed. A full refund may end paid access immediately and stop future renewal.

9. Taxes, fees, and currency

The refund covers the amount Semantec SEO is required or agrees to return. Taxes are adjusted according to the transaction and law. Bank, card-issuer, exchange, or third-party fees outside Semantec SEO's control may not be recoverable from Semantec SEO.

10. Fraud, misuse, and disputes

A suspected fraudulent, duplicate, abusive, or unauthorised request may be held while the transaction, account, and legal obligations are checked. Misuse does not remove mandatory rights, but it can affect voluntary relief and access.

Contact support before initiating a chargeback where practical so the issue and available remedy can be assessed. Nothing prevents a person from using a lawful payment, consumer, regulatory, or court route.

11. Changes and contact

A later version applies prospectively from its stated date. A change does not remove rights that arose under mandatory law or an accepted order.
