Schema Validation Workflow | MIRENA

Structured data release workflow

MIRENA validates schema against the approved asset, entities, URLs, and search feature rules.

A green syntax result is only one check. MIRENA compares the candidate with visible content, page type, entity identity, canonical URLs, Schema.org properties, supported search features, live output, owners, monitoring, and rollback conditions.

Central distinction

Schema Validation Workflow

A green syntax result is only one check. MIRENA compares the candidate with visible content, page type, entity identity, canonical URLs, Schema.org properties, supported search features, live output, owners, monitoring, and rollback conditions.

Valid JSON LD can still be wrong for the visible asset. Validation must check meaning as well as syntax.

MIRENA process

The internal workflow turns evidence into an approved handoff.

Approve the visible asset

MIRENA confirms the page type, entities, claims, URLs, steps, questions, offers, and dates.

Build the candidate graph

Stable IDs connect the organization, website, person, product, page, and page specific entities.

Check syntax and properties

JSON structure, types, required values, property ranges, and duplicates are reviewed.

Check content and identity match

Every field is compared with visible content, canonical URLs, and the approved entity register.

Check search feature rules

Supported feature guidance is applied only when the asset qualifies.

Validate the live URL

Rendered output, duplication, canonical, indexability, and deployment changes are reviewed.

Assign monitoring and rollback

Owners, review dates, error triggers, change controls, and rollback conditions are recorded.

Operating model

Validation states

The candidate moves through meaning, technical, search, and live checks.

Prepared after approvalCandidate

The graph describes the current visible asset.

JSON parsesSyntax pass

Brackets, values, types, and encoding are valid.

Fields fit the typeProperty pass

Values follow Schema.org ranges and identity rules.

Visible support existsContent pass

No hidden, stale, or unsupported claim enters markup.

Search guidance checkedFeature review

Eligibility is reviewed without promising a rich result.

Rendered output matchesLive pass

No plugin duplication, canonical mismatch, or deployment error.

Changes remain ownedMonitor

The graph is reviewed when content, identity, price, or URLs change.

Bad deployment can be reversedRollback

The prior approved graph remains recoverable.

Illustrative record

Common validation findings

MIRENA routes each failure to the owner who can actually fix it.

Example output

  • Syntax errorRepair the JSON structure.
  • Unsupported fieldRemove or replace the property.
  • Content mismatchUpdate the visible content or hold the field.
  • Identity conflictFix the canonical entity ID and references.
  • Duplicate graphDisable overlapping plugin output.
  • Live changeRerun validation after deployment or rollback.

Questions

Schema Validation Workflow questions.

What is a schema validation workflow?

It is the ordered review from visible content approval through candidate graph, syntax, properties, content match, feature rules, live URL, monitoring, and rollback.

Is valid JSON enough?

No. The graph can parse while describing the wrong page type, unsupported claims, stale values, or conflicting identities.

Does passing a rich result test guarantee appearance?

No. Passing can support eligibility when the feature is available, but search display remains outside the site owner's control.

When should the live URL be checked?

After deployment, because themes, plugins, rendering, canonical rules, and duplicate output can change the final graph.

What does MIRENA return?

MIRENA returns the validation record, errors, mismatches, eligibility notes, live findings, owner, monitoring, and rollback handoff.
